International Truck introduced their new “Next Generation Vehicles” (NGV) in a manner that reflected both the prominence of the company and the size of its products. International was still the leader in commercial truck manufacturing, but the competition was gaining on them. So International conceived and developed NGV and wanted to launch it in the biggest way possible. There was also a Ride & Drive that took place at the Las Vegas International Motor Speedway after the new product introduction.
